THE SAGA OF WHITENING CREAM X

Have you watched the expose made by Jessica Soho and Corina Sanches about the ill effects of some whitening creams and glutathiones couple of months ago? Thanks for the users who complained.

There is this whitening cream that is packaged in small jars similar to the container of a known  jam. What is frightening about this whitening cream is that it claims cure and or improvement to many skin imperfections. It does not even state its contents, the manufacturer/maker. I have seen several sites that say that this is BFAD approved and is manufactured in KSA.
I bought three from different sources. One was given to a friend, the other to our house hold help and another to a relative. Here are some observations and comments I gathered.
1. some sellers claim that this cream comes in several variants - this simply proves that there is no quality control in making of this product
2. The three creams from different sources showed marked differences in consistency (from smooth to a little bit gritty, from very oily to oily to non-oily), not to mention the price... Each of the seller claims that his/her product is original.
3. and... the SMELL? One could get dizzy by simply smelling the cream. Try it yourself.

4. Who say it's safe? Anything that corrodes the tin cover is NOT.
5. Some sellers claim that effect can be obtained overnight. Others claim that in 3 days the effect would be evident. Strong... don't you think so?
6. Besides, the amount is exuberant! The cream is being sold 4x (or perhaps even 5x) its original price.

This whitening cream has been listed as one of the mercury-laced cosmetic products (

Don't be gullible. The bottom line is that, we should be more scrutinizing in buying things. Be afraid of whitening products that are cloaked in mystery. Why do you want to be whiter? This melanin pigment that we have is our last frontier against the harmful effects of the sun. Love that color that God has given us...genetically, I was given a fair skin...

You may refer to the following links to see how similar the container of this cream is with that of the container of the jam.
